Annapaola Leso

Annapaola Leso was born in Verona/Italien and lives and works as a dancer and performer in Berlin. She began her ballet training in her ho metown. Later she studied at the Academy of Contemporary

Dance and Theatre in Milan, from where she graduated in 2009. As a dancer and assistant choreographer she was involved in several pieces by the Taiwanese choreographer Shang-Chi Sun. She danced with the Neon Dance Company in London under the direction of Adrienne Hart and worked with the Kammerensemble Neue Musik (KNM) Berlin, among others. With Sasha Waltz & Guests she has danced regularly and in numerous pieces since 2015. Together with Natascha Roy she realized the workshop series »Movements for the Moment« for which she taught improvisation and composition of dance with live music. Further she teaches the younger classes of the Kindertanzcompany (childrens’ dance company) of Sasha Waltz & Guests in Berlin together with Alessandra Defazio and Davide Camplani.
