Jojo Büttler
Jojo Büttler studied physical theatre at the Folkwang University in Essen and undertook further training as part of the Dance Intensive Programme in Berlin. They are a white, non-disabled artist and audio describer working in the fields of physical theatre and dance. Jojo works with various independent collectives and artists, including Anajara Amarante, Tabea Antonacci and Compania Animalia. Together with Anajara Amarante, Jojo created the multisensory piece »Approaching Care«, which premiered in 2023 at the ada-Studios in Berlin. Jojo seeks to question, challenge and soften structures, as well as to foster greater accessibility and build community. Jojo started working with Sasha Waltz & Guests in 2026.
