Eva Georgitsopoulou

Eva Georgitsopoulou was born in Patras, Greece. She lives in Berlin and besides working as a dancer and choreographer, she studies law at the Democritus University of Thrace. In 2013, Georgitsopoulou graduated from the State School of Dance in Athens and continued her studies in Israel. She then received a full scholarship from Rami Beer, the choreographer of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. From 2016 to 2021 she worked as a performer with Aerites Dance Company. At the same time, she was a choreographic associate for several productions in Greece and abroad. Since 2019, Eva Georgitsopoulou has been dancing regularly in pieces by the company Sasha Waltz & Guests. Her own choreographic productions have been staged internationally since 2015. Her own choreographic productions have graced numerous festivals and venues, including the Greek National Opera Ballet , Athens Epidaurus Festival, Kalamata International Dance Festival, RAW Tanzwerke Kassel, Dance Days Chania, Lange Nacht des Tanzes Pillberg and Arc For Dance Festival.
