In C – nächste Generation (2022)

The young dancers of groups 3 (11-14 years) and 4 (14+ years) danced together on stage for the first time in 2022 and rehearsed a work by Sasha Waltz: Since the beginning of 2022, they worked on the movement material of the choreography »In C« by Sasha Waltz & Guests, which is based on the piece of the same name by Terry Riley - and is a colorful venture into the world of minimal music. Together with the experienced »In C«-performers Aladino Rivera Blanca, Alessandra Defazio, Annapaola Leso, Jiří Bartovanec, Orlando Rodriguez and Wibke Storkan, they developed their own interpretation of the structured but playful improvisation, which  they performed in 2023 both as part of the showing 2023 as well as in a further developed version in December 2023.

As part of the 30th anniversary of Sasha Waltz & Guests, the young dancers in September 2023 performed »In C - nächste Generation« for the first time together with professional dancers from the company at Radialsystem, Berlin.
