Yorgos Dereskos
Yorgos Dereskos was born in Greece. He studied at the National School of Dance (KSOT) in Athens and graduated in 2022. After his studies, he attended international training programmes including Gaga Labs, FoCo Technique by Yue Yin, Hofesh Shechter Intensives and KOMOCO Intensives. Since 2022, he has been working as a freelance dancer/performer. He has collaborated with RootlessRoot/Fighting Monkey in »Silence«, presented at the Athens Epidaurus Festival and on international tour. Most recently, he performed in »This That Keeps On – A Personal Archaeology« at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and in »Requiem for the End of Love« at the Stavros Niarchos Hall, both works created by Dimitris Papaioanou. He started working with Sasha Waltz & Guests for the revival of »Zweiland« in 2026.
