»In C« at Multitudes Festival in London
We are guests at the Multitudes Festival at the Southbank Centre in London and present »In C« together with London Sinfonietta on the 29th and 30th of April.
The Multitudes Festival at the Southbank Centre is an interdisciplinary festival for classical music. Leading visual artists, poets, performers and choreographers from around the world come together to present extraordinary performances.
Sasha Waltz's colourful exploration of the world of minimal music »In C« is based on Terry Riley's revolutionary and open composition of the same name. Together with 10 dancers, the choreographer developed choreographic material in spring 2021 that follows a similarly variable structure and therefore leaves room for ever-new variations. »In C« is an experimental, constantly evolving project that will now be shown in London for the first time.
