Diego Noguera: Record Release Concert in Berlin

Diego Noguera, who created the electronic composition »Freiheit/Extasis« for Sasha Waltz's choreography »Beethoven 7«, is giving a concert at Radialsystem, Berlin to mark the release of the new EP »I HAD A NAME«.

In the latest EP titled »I had a Name«, the Chilean-born, Berlin-based music composer, producer and performer Diego Noguera, creator of the electronic composition »Freiheit/Extasis« which is part of Sasha Waltz’ choreography »Beethoven 7«, invites us on a deeply personal and evocative sonic journey through a world where music serves as the bridge between emotions, identity, and environment. On the occasion of the album release on the label Filiae in late November, Noguera will be presenting a live-concert of »I HAD A NAME« after the performance of »Beethoven 7« on Dec 9^th, 2023 at Radialsystem, Berlin.

The album »I HAD A NAME« is founded upon a collection of sounds gathered from various European theatres, homes, countries, and landscapes during Noguera's last year in Santiago and initial year in Berlin. The music of the album is constructed from these sounds, which for Noguera represent what is most akin to a home.
