In her current work »Beethoven 7«, Sasha Waltz combines Ludwig van Beethoven's »Symphony No. 7 in A major (op. 92)« with Diego Noguera's composition »Freiheit/Extasis« to create a world caught between utopia and dystopia. It transfers the future questions of individual freedom and the dissolution of boundaries, which already resonate in Beethoven's music, to the hard electronic sound of Noguera in our ambivalent present. The production can be seen in April at Kampnagel in Hamburg and at Radialsystem in Berlin.
