The dancer Maria Colusi, whom you can see dance in »Continu« this upcoming weekend at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele, will give a workshop from 10th to 12th April:

»From repertoire towards improvisation«
Workshop with Maria Colusi
When?: April 10th -12th 2019 // 10 am to 2 pm
Where?:
@ Studio A (5th floor), Radialsystem V, Holzmarktstrasse 33
Language: English

The workshop is targeted at experienced dancers and performers who are interested in a deep meeting with the language of Sasha Waltz's repertoire.

The workshop is divided in three parts:

- The first part is a warm-up based on alignment, breath and join articulation, it facilitates efficiency and fluidity in the movement, exercising weight, momentum and coordination through sequences.
- The second part is based in improvisation as practice to explore and understand about where ideas, meanings and impetus of the repertoire are coming from. The work will be individual, in couples and as a group.

- The last part is about learning the repertoire material that later will be the trigger to create new material in an improvisational frame.

Fee: 130 EURO
