After a wonderful guest performance at our Norwegian partner, the Bergen International Festival, Sasha Waltz” 6th choreographic opera »Orfeo« with music by Claudio Monteverdi finally came to Germany.
On 19 and 21 June, Sasha Waltz & Guests, the Freiburger BarockConsort and the Vocalconsort Berlin had been guests at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden under the musical direction of Pablo Heras-Casado .
On the 1 July followed by four more sold-out performances, »Orfeo« had its Berlin premiere at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden im Schiller Theater – THANKS to the wonderful audience here in Berlin!
